X-Link is a middleware product that passes data back and forth between medical software packages and/or data services supplied by a diverse array of vendors. The software packages and/or data service providers are generally categorized as Practice Management Systems (Billing), Electronic Medical Records Systems (patient charting), Laboratory Systems, Prescription Systems, Dictation Systems and other categories. Specific softwares that can be linked with XLink include Medisoft, Lytec, Altapoint, IAMS Reimbursement Manager, SOAPware, MediNotes, Praxis, Chart Logic, Dr. Notes and many others.
